Thank you to our artist community for your interest in collaborating, please read thoroughly to have your Dogepunk considered for submission.

We‘ve had many talented artists reach out to us expressing their interest in collaborating. We’re excited to see the community’s creativity on Dogepunks as we continue to grow together. This post will highlight the benefits for the artist, submission guidelines, and general Q&A. We will continuously update the Q&A section as will likely get more questions as time goes on. If you ask a question that has been covered in this post, we will ask you to re-read the article below. We are now accepting artists submissions and will feature our first community artist submission on or before March 15th.

Artist Collaboration Benefits:
We want artists to have their take on how Doge should evolve in Web3. Our goal is to highlight community artists' creativity for everyone to enjoy and have the chance to own a piece of history. We believe this will be an opportunity for artists to get discovered by founders, engineers, and other influential community members that are seeking world-class artist talent for their initiatives. We will tag the artist’s details in each listing for our community to reference if they are interested in learning more about the artist. We hope new community artists can use Dogepunks as a launchpad to grow and get noticed along with their existing portfolios.

As stated in the genesis Dogepunks Medium article, 10% of the original sale price will be provided to the artist, no questions asked. If we decide to airdrop or giveaway the Dogepunk created by a community artist, we will agree upon a pre-determined market price to reward the artist.

Community Submission Guidelines:
1. To submit a Dogepunk, send a DM to our Twitter account (@dogepunks). Please give up to 2 days for the acknowledgment and reply back to your submission. Our creative director/lead illustrator will review your submission during this time.
2. Once acknowledged, we will let you know either one of three statuses for your submission: i) Approved, ready for listing, ii) Pending, requires revisions or iii) Rejected (and the reason(s) why it was rejected).
3. We prefer to use the existing Dogepunks template as the base template artists should work on. If you specialize in any specific art (e.g. 3D art, abstract, etc), we will also consider these submissions as a piece unique or a mini-series run. We want to celebrate the artist’s creativity and unique touch but reserve the right to decline a submission.
4. Please use 1000x1000 px sizing. JPEG/PNG is preferred.
5. Not all submissions will be selected. Due to a large number of interested artists, we will do our best to select as many artists as possible so everyone can get the opportunity to have their Dogepunk listed.
6. Please do not spam us during the review process. This will not allow you to cut the line for all other artist submissions.
7. You must have an existing Ethereum wallet for the 10% artist commission to be sent to. We are not responsible for setting this up for you. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and providing the correct wallet address.
8. Upon sale, we will reach out to you via Twitter DM for your Wallet address to have the commission sent to you.
9. We do not have a limit on how many Dogepunks you can submit or how many times you could be selected. Please use your discretion to create high-caliber Dogepunks to have the best chance of getting selected multiple times.
10. By submitting artwork, you are confirming that you are either the original artist or working with the original artist to submit. We have a zero-tolerance policy on art theft and reserve the right to pull the submission or halt the commission payment until the dispute has been resolved between the parties.

General Q&A:

Q: Does the artist get to set the pricing for the Dogepunks created?
A: You can influence/recommend the pricing, but we reserve the right to determine final pricing to preserve existing community Dogepunks value.

Q: Why have you not replied back to my submission?
A: If we have not responded in 48 hours, please send us another DM. We may have missed it or have a backlog of submissions to review. If this is within the 48 hour timeline, please allow the review process to complete.

Q: My Dogepunk has sold! When do I get paid?
A: Within 24 hours of sale. To be proactive, provide your wallet address after the sale and we will send the commission to you. You have to ensure the wallet address is correct. We do not have the ability to ‘unsend’ any commission.

Q: How long do I have to wait for you to list my Dogepunk after approved submission?
A: We will list all Dogepunks that have been approved within 48 hours.

Q: Can I pull my Dogepunk from being sold?
A: Yes, you have the right to pull the Dogepunk if it has been listed but not sold. We cannot remove any Dogepunks after it has been sold.

Q: Do artists get a commission on secondary listing sales?
A: No, the 10% commission only occurs during the first initial sale. All secondary sales do not carry the 10% commission.

Q: I submitted a design, but then another person’s was selected that is the same/similar. What gives?
A: We will honor the first in — first listed policy. If there is another artist with a similar idea to yours that submitted their artwork before you, we will let you know. If you want to run an idea by us first before creating to check if it has already been submitted, feel free to reach out to us on Twitter.
